Navy looks awfully good all of a sudden!
Since late in the second quarter, the Midshipman have run off 24 points in a row against the Tier A Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and lead 31-28. Remember, Navy lost forty-three in a row against the Irish over four and a half decades - this would make the plebes pee their government issued pants!

Way to go Mids! 18 games since 2013 with +200 yards rushing.
ReplyDeleteThey provoked a conversation with the household ten year old about the different ways offenses can be effective - mostly running, mostly passing, etc. (He did ask if there was ever an offense that was mostly punting. We resisted making Bottom Six jokes...)
